Mark 5:36
“Yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified.”
Question:
To be justified is to be “declared righteous” by God. This verse is reassuring us that there is no action or thing that we can do or give to be righteous in God’s eyes. God declares us righteous if we simply believe that Jesus died for our sins. How have you been trying to get God’s attention through performing? What does it actually take to get God’s attention?
