Isaiah 59:2
“But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear.”
Question:
The opposite of goodness is iniquity, wickedness or badness. These are things we do that we know are wrong but we do them anyways. Which as sinners, we do this a lot!
This verse warns us that when we choose our fleshly iniquities over the God’s goodness, that God will turn His face away from us and will not hear us, that is until we repent or apologize to God for not doing what we knew was right.
